Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Kindergarten

Infants
Infants prosper in our montessori environment. Full time program for 8 weeks old and older. Our program emphasizes language, movement and independence.
Toddlers
Toddlers are gaining independence, learning social skills and learning through their senses. A prepared environment gives them the opportunity to explore.
Primary 3-6 years old
The primary classroom has certified Montessori teachers that guide students through lessons at their own pace. Areas of instruction are practical life, sensorial, language, science, geography and math.
After School
Before & After School Program for the public elementary schools in the area.The teacher offers the children encouragement and assistance with homework. We supply transportation to and from the school. In addition to helping with homework we provide breakfast, afternoon snack, outdoor play time, arts and crafts, and fun activities. Five Star has an all day program on days public school is closed for holiday or teacher in-service days.
Summer Camp
We offer summer camps for Elementary age children. Our goal is to have fun and keep them interested and engaged. We do a lot of fun activities, sports, arts, crafts, cooking, science experiments, and weekly field trips.
Actively Learning
The prepared environment is designed to engage the children’s natural curiosity and love of learning. The teacher guides the children to the next level and stage of learning. The child is not limited by the norm of the group, each child may progress as quickly as they are ready.

Providing more than just a day care or child care center, the Montessori program and philosophy respects the whole child. The physical, social, spiritual and cognitive needs are inseparable and are respected and nurtured. Teachers employ different learning styles to meet the individual and unique need of the child.
Extra Curricular Activities
We offer a variety of extra-curricular activities such as Kinderdance, Soccer, Athletics and Art.
